Individuals and groups of individuals can now make a symbolic adoption a native plant within the Ferney forest reserve, for only MUR 1,000 per plant, the adoption remaining valid for 10 years.
MUR 1,000 – Native plant adopted for 10 years
MUR 2,000 – Native plant adopted for 20 years.
Adoptions can also be bought as a gift (birthday, wedding, special occasion, etc.) or for special dedications, as well as a means of marketing the green credentials of your group.
The Trust will ensure your tree is looked after as part of its regular monitoring studies and surveys of the forest.
To thank you for contributing to the Adopt-A-Tree campaign you will receive an Adoption Certificate listing your name, the number identity of the adopted tree, its species name and conservation status.
You will also be a prime witness to our conservation programmes and successes by regular updates through our e-newsletter.
To respect the environment and carbon limits, we can also send you your certificates by email.
How to Adopt

Why adopt?

- The contribution will also help, to tackle climate change, by funding vast habitat restoration programmes involving weeding out of Invasive Alien Species within and around the forest reserve.
